A 16-year-old from Buckinghamshire began creating football-themed bracelets after seeing the popularity of customised jewellery among fans at Taylor Swift concerts.

Caitlin Greshon, who lives in Milton Keynes said she "really liked the idea" of trading themed bracelets with her friends and was inspired by the exchange of handmade jewellery at Taylor Swift concerts to create her own football-inspired trinkets.

After Caitlin posted about her beaded bracelets, which bear phrases including 'Lionesses' and 'WWC 2023' on Facebook, she was surprised by the response she received.

"There was a lot of interest in them, which I was not expecting at all. I'm more happy that people are getting them and receiving something for such a big, but small community.

"I've already come up with a few new design ideas which I'm very excited to try and produce."

Although Caitlin is not planning to travel to Australia to watch the Women's World Cup this year, she will continue to supply football fanatics with accessories that are priced at only £2 online.

The 16-year-old, who supports Arsenal and Milton Keynes Dons, added that she thinks women's football has definitely seen a rise in popularity over the past year.

"It still could go bigger and get most of the hate away from it, to properly separate the hate from the fans."
