Joe Jacobson’s testimonial ended all square as Wycombe Wanderers drew 0-0 with his boyhood team, Cardiff City.
The first-half saw very few chances for either side but there were many bright sparks for the Chairboys.
Brandon Hanlan made his presence known down the left side channel, whilst Dale Taylor forced former Wanderers keeper Ryan Allsop into a comfortable save.

It has been a busy summer for Wycombe with nine new arrivals and manager Matt Bloomfield opted to start with seven of his acquisitions against the Bluebirds.
The only two that didn’t start were goalkeeper Laurie Shala and centre back Joe Low.
For Cardiff, all of their attacks came through Aaron Ramsey.
The former Arsenal, Nottingham Forest, Rangers and Nice man ran the midfield and nearly scored an audacious flick, only for it to go just wide.
He then tried his luck again moments later but was thwarted by Max Stryjek.
I've missed this feeling.

The second half saw the tempo increase but neither keeper was rarely tested.
Sheyi Ojo thought he had given the Bluebirds the lead but saw his close-range attempt smash the side netting whilst down the other end, Jack Grimmer had his fierce half-volley get tipped over by Jak Alnwick, who replaced the injured Allsop at the start of the half.
Wanderers nearly won it at the death when Tjay De Barr’s effort was blocked off the line by Dimitros Goutas, but a goalless draw was a fair result.
The Chairboys will begin their league campaign against Exeter City at home on August 5.
