Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth has hinted that there might be ‘one or two changes’ to the Chairboys starting 11 this weekend as they prepare to face Walsall in the FA Cup.
It is believed that Wanderers will give some fringe players who have been unused substitutes in recent league fixtures an opportunity at Adams Park, as their focus turns to the world’s oldest football competition.
Ainsworth also wants to see how far his side could progress in this year’s edition of the competition following last season's disappointment.
Wanderers were knocked out of the FA Cup in the first round by League Two Hartlepool United 12 months ago.
And despite being eliminated at the inaugural hurdle a year ago, the boss has stated that ‘it’s all about tomorrow, not yesterday’.
He said: “We want to win and I’ll put a team out that I believe can do that, with one or two showing me what they can do.
“Everyone has their favourites such as the fans, the players themselves, and even in the media, but this will be a good chance for a couple of players to show what they can do.
“So there will be one or two changes without a doubt.

“I’ve got a few older legs but I made changes for the game on Tuesday [November 1] because after four games in 10 days you do feel it.
“I know because I was one of them once.
“There will be one or two changes but that will not reduce the quality of the squad.”
On the cup loss against the Pools Monkey Hangers last season, he said: “You’ve got to put stuff like that to bed.
“If you hang onto those memories, you’re in trouble as it’s all about tomorrow and not yesterday in how we can be better, and we’re looking forward to taking Walsall on and welcoming them to Wycombe.
“Mike Flynn is a friend of mine and a good guy, and his team will be tough to beat.
“I was watching them this morning [November 3] so we know what’s coming.
"We’ve got to be at our best to beat them at Adams Park and the FA Cup means a lot too.”
The match will begin at 3pm.
