HIGH Wycombe's Isa Guha was named Player of the Ashes as England's women retained the series with a six-wicket victory at the Bradman Oval.
The seam bowler gave England their victory platform by taking five for 40 on the first day as the Aussies were skittled all out for 154.
Ironically the Trophy was decided by a one-off Test because Cricket Australia did not think England were worthy opposition for a full series.
But Guha and the rest of her England colleagues made the Aussies pay for their arrogance by retaining The Ashes while at the same time inflicting a first home series defeat on the hosts for 36 years.
