WASPS coach Shaun Edwards believes Josh Lewsey is thriving on the responsibility of being one of the senior pros during international weeks.

He said: "I think he's really enjoying the responsibility.

"We've had a few of our most senior players missing from the back three. Sackey's not played a great deal and Voycey has been injured.

"I just think Josh relishes that role of being a bit of a father-figure to the younger players and taking control and helping others along.

"He gets the Community Player every single year so he must enjoy that sort of role.

"As a 15, he's done that superbly this season."
