ENGLAND coach Brian Ashton, who names his team for France later today, must have winced on Saturday as he watched discarded World Cup winner Josh Lewsey continue his electric form with two tries in Wasps' epic 42-34 win against Bath.
Coach Shaun Edwards said: "As a 15, he's done that superbly for us this season.
"We've had a few of our most senior players missing from the back three lately - Paul Sackey's not played a great deal and Tom Voyce has been injured - and I just think Josh is really enjoying the responsibility.
"I think he relishes that role of being a bit of a father-figure to the younger players and taking control and helping others along."
Meanwhile Wasps say Sackey (thumb) and Simon Shaw (ankle) will both be fit to face France in Paris on Saturday night.
