WASPS will recruit foreign players this summer to avoid being devastated during international breaks.
Wasps have regularly provided more England players than any other Guinness Premiership club.
But they are fed up with the lack of support from the Rugby Football Union and chief executive Tony Copsey says they are prepared to act now.
He said: "Next season our recruitment policy will change.
"We're going to have to look at a number of foreign players and recruit them.
"It's either that or we face season after season of struggle."
