CENTRE Half Mike Williamson will continue his push for a first team start when he plays for the reserves in their re-arranged game at home against John Gorman's Southampton on Wednesday.
Willo, a former Southampton trainee, has spent a year out with cruciate and hand injuries.
Boss Paul Lambert says all he is lacking now is match practice.
He has already successfully come through two reserve outings and has worked his way onto the first team bench in recent weeks.
But the outlook on fellow centre half Will Antwi is not so bright.
He is still struggling with his groin injury and has not been fit enough to train.
