MARLOW are reaping the rewards as two of their strikers try to match each other goal for goal in the race for the top-scorer gong.
In the last ten matches Aaron Couch and Jermaine Roche have netted 19 times between them in a run that has fired Marlow from mid-table to the brink of the play-offs.
On Saturday Couch claimed the match-ball with a hat-trick in Marlow's 4-1 victory at Bracknell, but Roche hit back days later with a treble of his own as Marlow thrashed Andover 6-2 on Tuesday night.
Manager Kevin Stone said: "They've both got electric pace. Aaron is raw, without much training but his enthusiasm is fantastic.
"Jermaine spent a year at Southampton and you can see he's been professionally trained.
"He's a bit more serious in his play whereas Aaron is off the cuff."
Roche has already been lured away from Oak Tree Road, only to return, while Couch is also attracting interest now, but Stone says there has been no official approaches and is confident of keeping both until the end of the season at least.
First up on the long run-in is a visit from Uxbridge tomorrow.
