WASPS coach Shaun Edwards has admitted he feared Danny Cipriani would ruin his afternoon at Twickenham on Saturday.
Edwards, who was making his international coaching bow as part of the Wales set-up, knows all about the Wasps fly-half and as the clock ticked down towards a famous Wales win he says Cipriani is the man he feared most.
So much so that with three minutes left he jumped off his seat to order a redeployment in defence, moving Lee Byrne from his position out wide to full back.
Edwards said: "We didn't need another score so there was no point Lee standing anywhere other than at full back.
"If he'd stayed out of position and England had managed to get Danny the ball, there'd only have been one result.
"He'd have been under the sticks."
