WASPS Academy star Hugo Ellis captained England U20 to an imposing 28-15 win over Wales U20 at Gloucester on Friday night in their opening game of the U20 Six Nations.
Ellis, who scored seven tries in seven games as captain of the U19s last season, was in top form at No8, although Wasps team-mate Joe Simpson was a late withdrawal after suffering an ankle injury.
Noah Cato, Miles Benjamin and Luke Eves all crossed the whitewash for England to secure the win.
They will look to build on this win in Genoa on Saturday, when they take on Italy U20s.
