Gareth Ainsworth has revealed that he wants his players to ‘express themselves’ for when Wycombe take on Milton Keynes in the League One play-off semi-finals.
Wanderers are currently the division’s in form team with eight wins from their last 12, whilst MK have only lost three times since January 1 in the league.

In recent weeks, the Chairboys have blown teams away with a positive early start, most notably in the two wins against Cambridge United, Crewe Alexandra and Plymouth Argyle.
In those 12 fixtures, the Chairboys have scored 20 goals and kept seven clean sheets.
Speaking ahead of MK’s visit to Adams Park on May 5, Ainsworth said: “I want my players to express themselves and show everyone what they can do.

“My boys are part of a brilliant team, but it’s all about being you and if they can be themselves on that pitch and connect like that have been connecting, then we will have nothing to fear.
“The play-offs are something totally different and I am quite fortunate enough to be involved in them as a player and as a manager, and I’ve not done too badly in them.
"This is a completely different competition.
Season ticket holders’ places for the first leg are reserved for them until 12pm tomorrow (Wednesday).

"Both sides have changed their teams and styles [during the season] and maybe we’ve changed our styles more than them.
“It’s all about the two legs and we’ve got to make sure that we make these games count.
“The boys have really taken to playing at home, as we’ve seen in the recent results against Plymouth and Sheffield Wednesday, and we’ve got one of the best home records in the country, and we’re going into the play-offs on great form which is brilliant.

“The boys are confident, and we really hope we can put some markers down so that Wycombe Wanderers are not this Home Counties club that make up the numbers.
“We are here to compete and contend and the boys are showing that.”
