Wycombe’s brilliant win over Sheffield Wednesday on April 23 was a great day for many reasons.
Wanderers’ unbeaten league run stretched to 11 games, that’s 17 clean sheets in 45 matches, and the victory over the Owls saw an amazing 9,005 people attend Adams Park.
That’s the highest home crowd for the Chairboys this season, their highest at the stadium for six years, and their highest in the league for 13 years.

The fixture saw many supporters visit the ground to watch the match, but there was one area of Adams Park that caught everyone’s attention.
A section of the Presonus Stand was packed full of fans that had flown all the way over from Spain to witness Wycombe live in the flesh, and they did not stop singing throughout.

They were also had a great view of Jordan Obita getting the winner to secure Wanderers’ 22 league win over the season.
The supporters, who are part of the club’s Worldwide Wanderers campaign, were welcomed to Buckinghamshire with open arms on what was a brilliant day for the Chairboys.

We also saw legendary striker Adebayo Akinfenwa leave Adams Park in a helicopter an hour or so after the match had ended.
Nothing but the best for the Beast.
