Wycombe Wanderers manager Gareth Ainsworth believes that some of his players that have been absent from recent matchday squads will have their part to play before the season is over.
Prior to the fixture against Cambridge United on April 5, the Chairboys were unchanged for five matches.
The boss also kept the same starting 11 from the win over the Amber Army for their visit to Kent four days later, but following Anis Mehmeti’s injury after 10 minutes and Lewis Wing’s red card, Ainsworth will be needed to change up his team for the Good Friday match against Plymouth Argyle at Adams Park.
82 - Vokes is off and @daRealAkinfenwa is on against his former club. Like always, he gets a warm welcome from the home fans. #Chairboys #GillsFC

Speaking after the draw, he said: “That’s just football as you’re going to get injuries and suspensions.
"But what I’ll say is, the likes of Sullay Kaikai and Dom Gape have been so patient along with the likes of Jack Grimmer and Jordan Obita.
“I can’t thank them enough and they will get their chance to make or break something at Wycombe Wanderers.”
He also praised the performance of Daryl Horgan, who covered every blade of grass in the draw away at Gillingham, before being substituted.
Horgan has started the last eight league matches.
The boss continued: “Daryl has been brilliant recently as well as today, but he just ran out of legs.
Things are getting a tad heated over here in Kent. Simon Mather the referee has waved away at least six to seven free-kick appeals for Gillingham, and it's fair to say that the #Gills fans feel a tad aggrieved. He's not made any friends this afternoon. #Chairboys

“The metres that boy puts in and gives us is unbelievable.”

Finally, on the run in, Ainsworth continued: “We played some fantastic stuff and we’re seventh in the league.
“The fans were brilliant as they were bouncing up and down, and it just added to that atmosphere.
“We now need to win a couple of games to make us contenders for the play-offs as it’s going to go to the wire.”
