As well as being top of the League One table, Wycombe Wanderers are also first for the number of goals scored this league season from outside the penalty box.

The Chairboys have bagged 44 league goals so far this campaign, with 13 of them coming from outside of the area across England’s top four leagues.

The revelation is according to Playmaker Stats on Twitter.

The team that are in second place behind the Wanderers are Stoke City of the Championship with 10, whilst League One rivals in MK Dons (nine), Rotherham United (nine) and Burton Albion (eight) also make the list.
