A Non League club are hoping to raise £10,000 in order to have a grant accepted for a new family stand.
Risborough Rangers, who are currently top of the Spartan South Midlands Football League (step five in the National League System, and level nine in the English Football Pyramid), play their games at the B.E.P Stadium on Horsenden Lane within the town, and average around 100-150 spectators each home match.

If the club are promoted at the end of the season, which looks likely, Risborough will need to make amendments to their ground to keep in line with the Football Association’s [the FA] rules for Non League teams.

If not, the club may be denied the chance of promotion, and could be relegated into a lower league if their facilities are not up to the FA’s standards.
An excerpt from the page reads: “The FA has strict rules about the facilities which clubs at our level must have.
“Currently, our first team is top of the table in the Spartan South Midlands Football League in its first-ever season at Step 5, but without the new Family Stand, we could face relegation.
“Our wonderful volunteers at the club have supported Risborough Rangers tirelessly for decades and have worked incredibly hard to get us this far.
History could be made in Bucks tomorrow as Risborough Rangers could eclipse Arsenal’s 49 game unbeaten run, if they avoid defeat against Oxhey Jets. They haven’t lost a league match since April 2019 and are currently level with the Gunners’ record. @NonLeagueCrowd #NonLeague pic.twitter.com/ykp5fnGbKh

“It would be such a shame not to be able to develop our club now for the generations of young Risborough footballers to come.
“Can you help us to reach our target by March 31, 2022?”
The club, who have had the last two seasons cut short due to the pandemic [2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons), recently recorded their 50th consecutive league match without defeat, eclipsing Arsenal’s famous 49 unbeaten run from 2003-04.
