A young Wycombe Wanderers side lost 3-2 at home to Maidenhead United in a friendly match at Adams Park.
Made up of several development players, the odd first team player and trialists, Wanderers took the lead thanks to an Anis Mehmeti free-kick from 25-yards inside two minutes.
Mehmeti is back from the international break with his native Albania, but he will miss the three competitive games due to a three-game suspension.

A tough afternoon at the office for a young #Chairboys side.

Despite some positive play from Wycombe going forward, with Connor Parsons and Mehmeti looking particularly smooth down the left-hand side, it was Maidenhead who made no mistake in converting their next opportunity as Emile Acquah neatly dinked a ball over onrushing Tyla Dickinson from a looped ball, before Reece Smith made it 2-1 just before half-time.
It wasn’t until the 75th minute when Maidenhead were able to increase their goal tally to three, as some shaky defending from the Chairboys saw a low ball across the box fired home at close range.
Recent signing Connor Parsons got himself on the scoresheet as the game drew to a close, heading home a beautiful delivery from James Clark in the 85th minute.
