Wycombe Wanderers have confirmed the signing of Sam Vokes from Stoke City.
The 31-year-old was unveiled to the club before the Chairboys’ pre-season fixture against Leicester City, where he was given the number nine shirt.
Vokes, who joined Stoke City in a swap deal that saw Peter Crouch move from the Potteries to Burnley in January 2019, has struggled to find regular form for the ex-Premier League side, has he as only bagged 12 goals in 86 matches for the club.

The forward, who started his career with Bournemouth before moving to Wolverhampton Wanderers, has also played 64 times for Wales and has scored 11 times for the Dragons.
