Wycombe Wanderers have confirmed that defender Giles Phillips has joined Aldershot Town on a two-year-deal.
The 24-year-old American, who spent two years with the Chairboys, had two loan spells at the Non League side last season, where he played 18 times for the Shots.
He was recalled to the Chairboys squad at the back end of the previous season, where he was an unused substitute in four of Wycombe’s matches in April, before hewas released by Wanderers this summer.

Phillips joined Wycombe in July 2019 from QPR on a season-long loan and played 16 times in all competitions in his first year at the club, as Wanderers were promoted to the Championship.
However, he was sent off twice during the campaign.
Despite this, he joined the Adams Park outfit on a permanent deal last summer, but didn’t make a first team appearance for the club during the 2020/21 season.
His final game for the club wasthe 4-0 away defeat to Peterborough United in January 2020, where he was shown a straight red card after 21 minutes.
In a brief statement on Twitter, Wycombe said: “Go on Giles! Good luck for the future.”
