Wycombe Wanderers have confirmed that defender Giles Phillips has been recalled to the club following his loan spell at Aldershot Town.
The 23-year-old American had two separate loan spells at the Shots this season in the National League, where he played 18 times.
In a brief statement published on Aldershot’s website, they said: “After a second loan spell with the club, defender Giles Phillips has returned to parent club Wycombe Wanderers.

“The 23-year-old made 18 total appearances for the club and was an integral member of Danny Searle’s squad over the course of his temporary stays with the Shots from mid-November to early April on two separate occasions.

Phillips signed for Wycombe in the summer of 2019 on loan from QPR, and played 16 times during Wanderers’ successful season, as they were promoted to the Championship.

He signed for the Chairboys on a permanent deal a year later, but he has yet to feature in a first-team match for Gareth Ainsworth’s side this season.
In his 16 matches for Wanderers, he has been sent-off twice, with his last red card being in his final match for the club to date – the 4-0 away defeat to Peterborough United on January 21, 2020.
He was given his marching orders after just 21 minutes in the thrashing.
