The kick-off time for Wycombe’s away match at Watford has been changed.
Wanderers were due to play the Hornets at 7.45pm at Vicarage Road on Wednesday, March 3, but the fixture against the promotion-pushing side has been moved to an earlier kick-off time of 7pm.
It will be the Chairboys’ first visit to the stadium since August 2012, when they lost 1-0 in the first round of the League Cup, with Scottish striker Chris Iwelumo getting the only goal of the tie in extra time.
Wanderers confirmed the news on Feb 25

Additionally, it will be the first league meeting between the two sides in Hertfordshire since September 1997, when Watford defeated Wycombe 2-1.
When the two teams met back in October, Anthony Stewart’s header rescued a point for the Chairboys, which was their first in the Championship this season.
In the seven games that the two have played each other, Wycombe have failed to win any, earning three draws and losing four.
Finally, two Wycombe players have made it into the Championship’s Team of the Week for the last two games.
After Wanderers’ 0-0 draw against Millwall on February 20, centre back Ryan Tafazolli was named in the elite squad, but ironically, the Iranian-English defender was sent-off in his next match, which was the 1-0 home victory versus Reading on February 23.

But due to his brilliant performance in that win against the Royals, Josh Knight, who is on loan from Leicester City, has made it into the current TOTW (Team of the Week), as Wycombe defeated Reading for the first time since 1999.
It was also their first home league win of 2021.
Wycombe’s next fixture is at home to league leaders Norwich City, on Sunday, February 28.
The match will kick-off at 12pm.
