Wycombe are expected to name their 25-man squad list with manager Gareth Ainsworth revealing that ‘he will be having chats’ with a few of his players.
During the January Transfer Window, Wanderers confirmed the signings of Admiral Muskwe and Josh Knight on loan deals from Leicester City and Jordan Obita from Oxford United on a permanent contract.
They also re-signed Nnamdi Ofoborh from Bournemouth until the end of the season.
However, despite the squad list, the gaffer is also hoping to bring in a couple of free agents.
Speaking after the 0-0 draw against Birmingham City on February 2, he said: “I have got about 30 players [in the squad], with all the B Team players so the squad will be announced.
“I will be having chats with a few people, but I am really happy with where I am as a squad.
“We had a really good window and not just with signings, but with rejecting offers too because, for the first time, this club has rejected a big offer for a player.
“The 25-man squad will be announced, people will see it and it is up for me to see that and there are plenty of free agents out there.

“It is a tough time as you get more free agents after the summer transfer window because people think they are going to get clubs but with January, it’s slim pickings.
“But it would not be the first time I would have got a free agent and have turned them into something as we’re quite good at that.”
Several of Wycombe’s squad have been with the club since their League Two days, with the likes of Anthony Stewart, Adebayo Akinfenwa, Matt Bloomfield, Ryan Allsop, Curtis Thompson, Dom Gape, Scott Kashket, Curtis Thompson, and Joe Jacobson, all helping Wanderers earn their rapid rise through England’s football pyramid.
And despite the Chairboys being bottom of the Championship, Ainsworth has faith that his EFL boys will help them avoid relegation.
He said: “We have the smallest budget by a million miles in the Championship and I have got some players who were with me when we were in League Two.
“I doubt there will be many teams [in the Championship] that have got players from when they were in League Two – maybe a couple at Luton.

“I have got five or six, so we can’t go gung-ho against teams because we did that against Brentford and we paid the penalty.
“We will have to graft and hopefully get these moments of quality and these moments of individuality that will get us the points.”
