Wycombe Wanderers have announced that midfielder Nnamdi Ofoborh has returned to the club.
The 21-year-old has joined on loan from Bournemouth for the rest of the season, as the Chairboys aim to avoid relegation back to League One.
Ofoborh spent the whole of last season with Wycombe where he played 25 matches and scored twice.
His second and final goal last campaign came after 59 seconds in Wanderers’ 4-1 thrashing against Fleetwood Town in the League One play-off semi first leg at Highbury Stadium.
The strike was voted Wycombe’s goal of the season.
Manager Gareth Ainsworth said: “We know what Nnamdi is all about and we’re really pleased to bring him back here.

“There were a lot of clubs interested in signing him, but Nnamdi enjoyed his time with us last season and knows there’s a great opportunity for him to develop his experience further by coming back and helping us over the second half of the season.
“He’s got all the attributes to become a top-class central midfielder, as we saw last season with his ability at both ends of the pitch, and I know he can also fill in in defence which could prove to be useful.

“We have strong competition for places all over the pitch now, with the signing of Jordan Obita last week and players returning from injury, and now we’re really looking forward to getting stuck into this busy schedule of fixtures in February and picking up as many points as we can.”
Prior to his second loan spell with Wanderers, Ofoborh played five matches for Bournemouth this season – one of these games was an EFL Cup defeat against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium in October.
The 21-year-old will wear the number 28 shirt as he did last season.

Fellow new signing Jordan Obita, who joined from Oxford United on January 29, will wear number 27.
The latter was previously worn by Josh Parker who joined Burton Albion during this window.
