Wycombe Wanderers are in mourning following the loss of one of their lifelong fans and volunteers.
The club confirmed the news in the evening of Sunday, January 31, that Sandie Derben had passed away in hospital ‘following an illness’.

The Chairboys described Sandie as a ‘dedicated volunteer’, who alongside her husband, John, a former club and trust director, was a well-known and popular face around Adams Park.

She regularly led teams of volunteers on matchdays and fundraising events through the Official Wycombe Wanderers Supporters Association.
The club said: “The thoughts of all involved with the club are with John and their friends and families at this sad time.”
Several of Wycombe’s playing and non-playing staff have aldo paid tribute to the much-loved Sandie.
Chairman Rob Couhig said: "Missy and I are broken-hearted for John, her family, and the Wanderers’ staff and fellow volunteers.
“A sweet, selfless, optimistic soul who always treated everyone with kindness.
May she rest in peace
