Wycombe Wanderers have announced the signing of former Reading man Jordan Obita on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
The 27-year-old joins the Chairboys from Oxford United after spending only three months with the Kassam Stadium outfit.

He joins Josh Knight and Admiral Muskwe as Wycombe’s other January signings so far.
Boss Gareth Ainsworth said: “Jordan’s got great experience at this level and is a player that we’ve always been impressed by, both at Reading and the clubs he’s played for on loan.

“He’s quick, he’s got a good delivery and he can do both sides of the game, both defensively and going forward, so he’ll be a really important addition to the squad for us.
“Joe Jacobson has made that left-back spot his own for seven years and rightly so because he’s been an outstanding performer for us, but it’s an area where we’re light on cover and Jordan comes in to give us that extra option down the left side.”

Prior to his move to his hometown team in the autumn, Obita spent 10 seasons with Reading, where he played 191 times for the Royals, scoring seven goals.
So far this season, he has played 15 matches and scored once.

His last game for the U’s was on January 26, when Oxford won 4-3 away at Rochdale in League One.
He has also represented Barnet, Gillingham, Portsmouth and Oldham Athletic respectively, during several loan spells whilst at Reading.
