A Wycombe Wanderers XI defeated Brentford B 1-0 in a practice match on Tuesday afternoon at Adams Park.
The game took place one day after Chairboys lost 4-1 at home to Tottenham Hotspur in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

The Wycombe line up consisted of several first-team players as well as trialists, with Wanderers hoping to sign a few of the players before the end of the transfer window this month.
The match was settled by Wycombe’s number eight, Alex Pattison, who converted a second-half penalty to secure the win for the home side.
Visiting keeper Nathan Shepperd did well to thwart the hosts in the first period, but he was the one to bring down Scott Kashket in the box to enable Pattison to break the deadlock from the penalty spot.

Two of the players that took part played in the defeat against Spurs a day earlier, with Kashket and McCleary getting a run out.
Several of Wycombe’s unused substitutes from Monday night’s game such as David Stockdale, Pattison, Dennis Adeniran, Anis Mehmeti, and Alex Samuel also played in the practice game, whilst Giles Phillips, who has spent some time this season at non-league Aldershot Town, also made an appearance as he captained the side.
The 23-year-old American, who is now in his second season with Wycombe, is yet to play his first first-time match for the club so far this campaign.
The match on Tuesday was the third practice match Wycombe have played this season.
The first was a 2-1 away loss at Chesham United on September 11 at The Meadow, and the second was against Bournemouth’s under 21s in November.
Wanderers won 4-1 against The Cherries with Alex Samuel scoring a hat-trick.
Jason McCarthy also scored for Wycombe that day.
