Wycombe manager Gareth Ainsworth said ‘he was flattered’ as Spurs had to use some of their star players to overcome Wanderers in the FA Cup.
Jose Mourinho’s side defeated the Chairboys 4-1 at Adams Park, with the North London outfit scoring three goals in the final four minutes to knock the home side out.

Wycombe had taken the lead in the 25th minute through Fred Onyedinma with his second goal of the season, before Gareth Bale equalised on half-time.
A wonderful Harry Winks strike put Spurs 2-1 up with four minutes remaining before the Frenchman, Tanguy Ndombele, scored a quick-fire brace.
If Wanderers had won, they would have faced Everton at Goodison Park in a couple of weeks’ time in the fifth round.
Speaking to the FA’s media team after the loss, Ainsworth said: “The scoreline is probably not a reflection on the game although they [Spurs] were fantastic at the end.
“I’m flattered that they had to put some big names out there to get in front, but we looked tired at the end.
“We gave everything and they’re a good side - a world class side.
“It was no disgrace from my boys tonight and I’m really proud, but we need to pick ourselves up for Brentford on Saturday and we’ll take a lot of heart from this.”
Names such as Harry Kane, Son Heung-min, Lucas Moura, and Joe Hart all made appearances at Adams Park, with the latter being kept busy in the first-half.
The former Manchester City, West Ham United, and Burnley shot-stopper had to be alert to deny both Admiral Muskwe and Joe Jacobson giving Wanderers an early lead.

But Spurs showed why they are going places under Jose Mourinho this season, as the League Cup finalists had no mercy when going forward in the final few stages of the match to see off Wanderers.
They also hit the bar and post during the tie.
As for Wycombe, every match now for Wanderers this season now will be a Championship affair, as they aim to stay in the division.
