Brentford manager Thomas Frank was full of praise for Wycombe Wanderers, following a 0-0 draw at Adams Park.
In a game of two-halves, Brentford were the better side in the opening 45 minutes before the Chairboys dominated large parts of the second-period.
But with a clean sheet for both sides, Frank and Ainsworth would have been happy with a point.

Speaking after the match, the Dane said: "Wycombe deserve praise as they made it very difficult for us.
"I think that they pressed us very well with good intensity as they did that throughout the game and they man marked well across the pitch.
"We [Brentford] created three big chances and if we take one of them, we win.
"And I think we [Brentford] lacked that composure and flair and on the day, we just didn’t have that."
It was the second time these two sides have played each other this season, following their EFL Cup battle back in September.
