Wycombe Wanderers have announced the winners of their annual Player of the Season and Goal of the Season awards.
Centre back Anthony Stewart, who has played over 200 games for the club and scored in the Chairboys’ play-off final win against Oxford in July, was awarded the Players’ Player of the Year prize, with match-winner Joe Jacobson and Darius Charles coming in second and third place runners-up.

Instead, left-back Jacobson landed the Supporters’ Player of the Year award, pipping Stewart and Charles after he scored 12 times during the 2019/20 season, which included a memorable hat-trick of set-pieces against Lincoln in September.
The Welsh international was also included in the League One Team of the Year.
The Goal of the Season prize went to Bournemouth loanee Nnamdi Ofoborh, whose left-footed drive in the first minute of the play-off semi-final first leg at Fleetwood got the Blues off to the best possible start.
