This year’s Marlow marathon and seven mile races have been cancelled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
However, organisers have confirmed that this year’s event will be done virtually, so that charities who benefit from the race do not miss out.
The race will see participants run the same length for either race in their own time between October 25 and November 1.

A spokesperson from the race said: “Once you've completed your race, lets us know your results on the website and maybe even upload a picture or two, and you could be in with a chance of winning one of our spot prizes!
“Every completed entry will receive an amazing finishers box, provided especially for us by Pathfinder UK, containing lots of goodies from small businesses, plus a special edition Virtual Marlow Half Marathon and seven neckband and wooden medal.”
All the proceeds will go to Buckinghamshire Mind and the Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust.
