Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth has said he has been in contact with a ‘couple Championship managers’ about his players in lockdown.
He revealed on the ‘I Had Trials Once’ podcast that his players are receiving clips of their best bits after advice of other managers.
Due to COVID-19 and the lockdown, players are unable to attend the club facilities or gyms but Ainsworth is hoping that the players can keep their metal state healthy.

The manager said: “I spoke to a couple Championship managers who I’m close to and one of them said what he started putting clips on.
“They’ve all got a WhatsApp group, they’re all good players.
So, they put in these clips of every player, who gets a day of his best moments of the season so far.
“They are connecting with football and it sparked a little bit chat on the group.
“I’m not in the group, I want them answer each other or talk to each other without my interruptions.
“So that’s working quite well.

“I think they are on day four now, they’ve all had clips uploaded and their all waiting for their day and it is great.
Some just little tricks that I’m trying to use on the mental side, because it’s really important to keep them mentally in the right place”
Ainsworth will be hoping to keep his said mentally fit as the club are still unsure how the remainder of the season will finish.
The club were preparing for their final ten games to push for promotion before the country went into lockdown.
Ainsworth has managed the Adams Park side since 2012.
