Wycombe Wanderers has praised one of their club doctors after it was confirmed he'll be working on the frontline to help fight against coronavirus.
Dr Carl Waldmann, who also worked for League Two side Leyton Orient, is currently helping patients at the Royal Berkshire Hospital.

In a statement on Twitter, the Chairboys said: “Another 'one of our own' performing heroics on the frontline fighting coronavirus is Dr Carl Waldmann.

Prior to the season being suspended in March, Wycombe sat outside the play-off places on goal difference.
The Chairboys are currently in eighth place.
