MATCH REPORT: Wycombe Wanderers 1-4 Coventry City.
Wycombe conceded four goals at home for the first time since April 2018, as Coventry ran riot at Adams Park.
The defeat, which was Wycombe's first at home in the league this season, saw the league leaders make a number of mistakes, as Coventry took the lead in the third minute through Sam McCallum, who fired past Ryan Allsop.

It was the 19-year-old’s first league goal of the season, and the first league goal of his career.
Coventry continued to control the match but were pegged back when Adebayo Akinfenwa bagged his seventh goal of the season in the 14th minute, with a low but scruffy finish underneath Marko Marosi.
It was the 37-year-old’s first game back since his red card against Oxford on December 21, and his first home goal since September.
However, this would be the best moment of the match for Wycombe as they were given a footballing lesson by the Sky Blues.
Not even a minute after Akinfenwa had given Wycombe their equaliser, the league leaders were 2-1 down after some comical defending from Sido Jombati.

The right-back, who was playing his fourth league game of the season since coming back from injury, produced a terrible back pass to Allsop, which Matt Godden latched on to.
Jombati tried to make up for his error but tripped up the clean through Godden in the penalty area, and referee Kevin Johnson had no option but to point to the spot.
The right-back was booked for the foul, and Godden stepped up to take the resulting spot-kick, which was buried into the bottom left-hand corner.
Wycombe just couldn’t get into the game despite getting their early equaliser, and the game was effectively over when Coventry got their third two minutes before the break, when Godden rounded Allsop from Shipley’s ball to make it 3-1.
It was his second of the contest.
The second-half was a continuation from the first as Coventry outplayed the hosts, and the game was sealed in the 50th minute when Godden completed his hat-trick by scoring one of the goals of the season.
Godden, who had only scored three league goals for Coventry since his big money move from Peterborough in the summer, scored an incredible volley from a blistering Sky Blues counter attack, as Coventry showed no mercy.
The defeat means that Wycombe have lost at home in the league for the first time this season, and it’s the first time since February that the Chairboys have suffered three straight losses.
They still remain top, but are now only four points clear of second-place Oxford United, who defeated AFC Wimbledon this afternoon.
On the other hand, this was Coventry’s first away win in the league this season, as they keep up their good record against Wycombe.
In the 10 games that Wycombe and Coventry have played each other, Coventry have won nine of those matches.
Next up for Wycombe is Ipswich Town on New Year’s Day.
