The Berks and Bucks FA have confirmed in a statement that Marlow FC’s appeal against the decision to remove them from the Senior Cup Final has been rejected.
The club originally defeated Slough Town FC in the semi-final, thanks to a goal from Kelvin Bossman. However, The Rebels lodged a complaint against Marlow in relation to the eligibility of two of Marlow’s players.
In a statement today, the Berks and Bucks FA confirmed that Marlow FC’s appeal was formally dismissed by an independent County FA.
As a result, Slough Town will face Reading FC’s U23 side in the Berks & Bucks FA Senior Cup competition, which will take place at Bracknell Town Football Club on Monday at 3.00pm.
