WANDERERS boss Gareth Ainsworth is hopeful the hamstring injury sustained by top scorer Dean Morgan isn’t too serious.
The striker came off just before half time of the Boxing Day defeat by Newport County with the injury.
He should miss Sunday’s match with moneybags Fleetwood – as will other players, if Ainsworth carries through his threat to ring the changes – but the Blues boss is optimistic the six-goal forward won’t be out for too long.
He said: “He’s got a pull on his hamstring. The physio says it’s not too bad – he’s come off straight away.
“Hopefully Dean will be back quickly but we need to concentrate now on Fleetwood. He’ll be a big loss – he was amazing at Northampton – but we have players to fill his shoes.”
