CHESHAM United backed up a valuable win over Hungerford with a resounding away victory at the weekend to maintain the pressure on Hemel Hempstead at the top of the Southern Premier League.
They won 4-1 at Frome Town with the points wrapped up in a devastating five-minute burst in the first half.
James Potten netted after 15 and 18 minutes before a goal from Steve Wales made it 3-0 after 20 minutes.
Drew Roberts finished it off with Chesham's fourth goal ten minutes from time.
In Southern League Central, Beaconsfield won an extraordinary game against Potters Bar Town.
They led 1-0 with just over 20 minutes of the game left, but they scored further goals after 68 minutes, 70, 83, 88 and 90, while Potters Bar replied in the 82nd and 90th minutes to make it 6-2 at the end.
Chalfont St Peter and Daventry drew 1-1 while Marlow found it tough at Royston Town, losing 4-0.
