WANDERERS boss Gareth Ainsworth said his game plan against Scunthorpe was ruined thanks to injuries to Paris Cowan-Hall and Steven Craig - and admits he's fearing the worst over the Scottish striker's fitness.
Blues' attacking play lost a key dimension once Craig was forced from the field in the first half with what's feared to be a thigh pull, with the chances drying up following his substitution.
And things got even worse as another important attacking outlet, winger Cowan-Hall, also had to be taken off in the second half.
Ainsworth said: "They were huge injuries. We started with a system and you work with a system, and losing two of my key players is hard to take."
The Blues chief said he is concerned Craig could be out for some time if his injury is as bad as he fears.
He said: "Stevie's could be quite a bad one - it could be a muscle pull. He's getting on a bit and he'll know how to look after that.
"Paris has twisted his knee so we'll have a look at that one as well."
