SCOTT McGleish's stay at Chesham United has come to an end.
Budget constraints at The Meadow has led to Saints boss Andy Leese reluctantly releasing McGleish after a two month stay for the former Wycombe Wanderers star.
The 38-year-old scored on his debut at Bedworth but that proved to be his only league goal for the club.
Leese said: "It was a decision made solely on the need to balance the playing budget at this time. Scott has been a model player as you would expect, both on and off the pitch.
"He was unfortunate not to get a run of games with our FA Trophy run limiting his opportunities, and I still think he could play higher up the leagues with his know how and desire for the game.
"It is disappointing to part company with Scott at this stage of the season, and on a personal note I wish him well with his playing and coaching career."
