Risborough Rangers fell to an incredible 4-3 home defeat against Thames Valley rivals Ardley United on November 22.

Taking place at the club’s B.E.P Stadium, the Reds took the lead on 23 minutes through a terrific finish from Harry Scott.

The forward managed to latch onto a long pass and lobbed the keeper with one touch.

However, by 35 minutes, Rangers were 2-1 down after goals from Conal Rogan and Lewis Gabbidon gave Ardley the lead.

Wiktor Makowski gave Risborough their equaliser on 40 minutes, before the away side went 3-2 ahead just after the restart through Anaclet Odhiambo.

They then squandered the chance to go 4-2 ahead as they then missed a penalty.

Asher Yearwood made things level with a brilliant goal with 21 minutes remaining, but Ardley left Horsenden with all three points as Odhiambo scored the winner in the final few seconds.

Rangers remain in midtable in the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division.
