A letter from one of our readers this week...
Your article dated January 6, 23 was very informative and aimed to educate drivers to the dangers of speeding past horses, cyclist and pedestrians.
As a cyclist and driver I am very aware and mindful of vulnerable road users.
I am however perplexed as to the relevance of your comments about the “single parent” horse owner and ask why we need to know her parental status?
Being single, married, divorced makes you no less vulnerable on the road.
Sole parent, Chad
