The monthly meeting at the Hughenden Parish Council was adjourned last night [October 12] in what turned out to be a most acrimonious occasion.
Following several (two minute) statements from the floor the council then (as usual) continued through its agenda which it seemed showed the council in a very bad light.
As they seemed to do nothing but bicker between themselves!
Some of the items incensed the audience that an inevitable and justified verbal repost ensued.
Some of the councillors’ comments were very derisory it seemed and sparked a tirade of verbal exchanges.
Such was the debacle that ensured the gavel was raised and the meeting adjourned.
