Several Bucks residents have been fined thousands of pounds after they breached the COVID-19 restrictions on indoor gatherings earlier this year.
Following those breaches, the offenders were all taken to court and fined earlier this month. See below for the full list.
Julie Nix, aged 49, of Buckingham Road, Aylesbury, has been fined £1,760 and told to pay £266 costs following a hearing at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Friday, June 4.
The court heard how Nix had participated in a gathering of two or more people at a private address in Carrington Road, Aylesbury, on January 18, breaching the Tier 4 lockdown restrictions that were in place at the time.
Nix was told to pay the balance within a month.
Paul Purdom, aged 49, of Carrington Road in Aylesbury, appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Friday, June 4, and was told to pay a £1,760 fine and £266 costs.
On January 18, when Aylesbury was under Tier 4 lockdown restrictions, Purdom was found to have taken part in a gathering of two or more people at a private address in Carrington Road.
Asmah Bibi, aged 38, of Quarrendon Avenue in Aylesbury, was slapped with a £1,760 fine and ordered to pay £266 costs at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Friday, June 4.
Bibi was found to have breached the restrictions in a Tier 4 area on January 16, when they went to a gathering of two or more people at a private address in Sydney Street, Aylesbury.
Farhat Jabeen, 34, of Sydney Street, Aylesbury, was told to pay a £1,760 fine and £266 costs at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Friday, June 4.
The defendant took part in a gathering of two or more people at a private address in Sydney Street, in Aylesbury, on January 16, going against the COVID-19 restrictions in a Tier 4 area.
Jabeen must pay the fine and costs by Friday, July 2.
Alan Yearwood, aged 47, of Buckingham Street in Aylesbury, was fined £1,760 and ordered to pay £266 costs at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, June 1.
Yearwood had taken part in a gathering of two or more people at a private address in Coxhill Way, Aylesbury, on February 4, in breach of the Tier 4 lockdown restrictions that were in place at the time.
Aaron Reddan, 29, of Greensleeves Drive, Aylesbury, must pay a £1,760 fine and £266 costs following a hearing at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, June 1.
On January 8, Reddan participated in a gathering of two or more people at a private address in Prothero Close, Aylesbury, breaching the Tier 4 lockdown restrictions.
Reddan has been ordered to pay the balance by Tuesday, June 29.
