BECCA Durden is preparing to throw herself out of a plane to raise money for a charity set up in memory of her best friend.
The 18-year-old is hoping to raise a four figure sum from next Sunday's skydive for the Aaron West Goalkeeping Academy.
It was set up in memory of promising footballer Aaron, who died from a rare form of liver cancer two years ago, as it was his dying wish.
And Becca is hoping to do her bit to help with the jump at the Hinton Skydiving Centre in Brackley next weekend.
The trainee hairdresser, who was friends with Aaron from their time together at The Amersham School, said: "I've always wanted to do a skydive and I wanted to do something wild for my best friend. He always thought I was a bit crazy.
"I'm getting more nervous as the days go on but I'm excited more than nervous. I've never done anything like it but I'm up for anything."
