THE founder of bed company, Dreams, will join the Duke of York and Sir Chris Bonington in an abseil down The Shard in London.
Turville resident, Mike Clare, has taken on the challenge to abseil down the 310m free-standing building in Central London.
Mr Clare seeks to raise £25,000 for The Outbound Trust and The Royal Marines Charitable Trust Fund.
He is no stranger to charitable causes as he founded The Clare Foundation in Saunderton in 2010, which houses a selection of charities and aims to help them run more efficiently.
Along with Prince Andrew, Ffion Hague, wife of Foreign Secretary William Hague, and legendary climber Sir Chris Bonington, Mr Clare will seek to raise funds for the two charities that are dedicated to helping those facing personal and physical challenges.
Mr Clare’s dare-devil charity challenge will seek to raise in excess of £1 million between all participants and will take place on September 3 .
