THERE has been much talk of rebuilding the Handy Cross sports centre.

There has also been talk of building a ‘Super Hospital’ in the Thames Valley.

Would it not make considerable sense, if these were to both happen, to knock down the Sports Centre and the Hospital and build the ‘Super Hospital’ on the site of the sports centre (giving it excellent access facilities which the current hospital certainly does not) and build a sports centre on the site of the hospital – giving it excellent access to the University, town, trains and buses?

I have no idea of budgets and timescales but swopping their positions would seem incredibly sensible?
