I am fast losing patience, let alone all credence with the Bucks Health chiefs, I refer to your article in the Bucks Free Press of August 10th.
There is a plan to extend the Stoke Mandeville A&E department at a cost of £2 million. So the NHS is short of funds – therefore why spend that extra £2 million when they already had a functioning A&E until recent years in High Wycombe?
Surely it would be cheaper to upgrade the Wycombe facility and let’s face it, Wycombe is far closer to both M40 and M4 motorways plus a large number of sporting venues than Stoke Mandeville. Please may we have some justification for this corporate madness? I firmly believe the lunatics have taken over the asylum that is now the Bucks NHS.
