POLICE are still appealing for help from the public following an alleged assault outside a takeaway shop in High Wycombe which has left a man in critical condition.

At around 1.55am on Sunday, July 29, the 22-year-old man was found with head injuries outside Pizza Go Go in Castle Street. Three arrests have been made, but police are still trying to track another man in connection with the investigation.

Det Insp Kevin Mahon, leading the investigation, said: “We are still actively trying to identify and find a fourth person who was in the area at the time of the assault.

“The man we are looking to speak to is a skinny man who was wearing a dark coloured hooded top and jeans and was near to Pizza GoGo at around the time of the assault. He was in the company of two women and another man.

“Shortly after the assault, this group of people left the area in a vehicle, believed to be a black Volkswagen Golf which was parked in a car park, just off Corporation Street.

“I would like to urge anyone who may have information or seen this group before or after the incident, and has not yet come forward, to contact the police as soon as possible.”
