THE re-opening of the Nags Head did not go ahead as planned due to a collapse in the pub's cellar.
The pub in London Road, High Wycombe which was closed last November, was due to re-open on Friday after a refurbishment but had to be postponed for a week.
Pub manager, Marco Iorio, said the board that holds all the taps for the different types of lager collapsed on Thursday afternoon.
Mr Iorio said: "The whole thing collapsed. I was hoping it would be quite quick to get it fixed. I rang the brewery who came down Friday but it wasn't fixed in time."
He said it has now been repaired and the pub is ready to be reopened this Friday.
