Beaconsfield bounce back but Amersham go down
HIGH Wycombe RFC, Marlow and Amersham & Chiltern all tasted league defeats on Saturday, but Beaconsfield and Chinnor both won.
Beaconsfield crushed Tadley 58-8 to remain on top of the Southern Counties North table while Chinnor demolished Weston-Super-Mare 55-10 at the top of National League 3 South West.
However, in the same division Amersham came unstuck after two wins with a 20-7 loss at Chippenham and in South West 1 East Marlow were hammered 25-0 at Bletchley and Wycombe were beaten 19-10 at home by Reading Abbey.
Elsewhere, Princes Risborough and Chesham both won their matches.
