FAME-hungry local musicians are being given the opportunity to showcase their talent at a Beaconsfield pub. The Red Lion in Knotty Green is appealing for performers to headline its popular weekly music night 'Friday Night Live @ The Red'. A COLLECTION in Beaconsfield raised more than £276 for Stokenchurch Dog Rescue. Supporters collected donations outside Sainsbury’s on January 14, to help the centre continue to rehome about 36 dogs each month.

BEACONSFIELD Library has a coffee morning on Friday from 10am - 12 noon, with a talk by Dale Hoyland, from United Sustainable Energy. He will give advice on keeping electricity and gas bills down. The talk starts at 10.30am.
